Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting.  It is 
family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (6-11 years
 of age).  Parents, leaders, and local organizations work together to achieve the purposes of 
Cub Scouting.

Membership
Cub Scout Pack 1700 is a bright group of boys and proud parents, primarily from the Colony Meadows 
Elementary School area, learning while having fun through the Cub Scout program.  Pack 1700's rally 
and recruiting efforts usually coincide with the beginning of the school year but new Cubs are welcome 
to join any time.
